- Day 1 Dublin to Delhi
Fly from Dublin to Delhi on over night flight.
Day 2 DelhiMeet & assist on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Stay in Delhi for two nights.
- Day 3 Delhi
Tour of Old and New Delhi visiting the Red fort, Jama Masjid, Raj Ghat and busy bazaar of Chandni Chowk. Also visit Qutab Minar, Humayun s tomb, India Gate, Birla Temple and drive past President s palace, Parliament House, Diplomatic enclave and Connaught Place.
- Day 4 Delhi to Jaipur
Morning train to Jaipur, the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan. Afternoon tour of the city visiting the City Palace, Swai Madho Sigh Museum, Hawa Mahal (Palace of the winds) and Janter Manter Observatory. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 5 Jaipur to RanthamborMorning drive out to the hills that surround Jaipur to visit Amber Fort and Palace, marvelous example of ancient Rajput architecture. Ascend the Fort on an elephant back. Afternoon drive to Ranthambor National Park. for two nights.
- Day 6 Ranthambor
Ranthambor National Park, a Project of Tiger Reserve, spreads over slopes to sharp ridges, flat valleys to narrow gorges, dotted with number of water holes and lakes fed by several perennial rivers. The reserve is dynamic in the diversity and density of fauna it supports and is noted for daylight Tiger sightings. The other fauna includes Panther, Nilgai, Hyena fox, sloth bear, wild boar, marsh crocodile and variety of resident and migratory birds. Morning and afternoon safari.
- Day 7 Ranthambor to Bharatpur
Game viewing at dawn. Later drive to Bharatpur bird sanctuary, one of the finest in Asia with over 300 species of birds and now a world heritage site. Among the rich fauna are Siberian crane, Cormorant, Painted stork, Pelican, Ibis and Snakebird. Exotic migratory birds flock here as far as Central Asia, Siberia, the Arctic region and China. Afternoon bird watching by rickshaw, boat or foot. Stay for one night.
Day 8 Bharatpur to AgraMorning bird watching by boat. A visit to nearby Band Baratha bird sanctuary can be arranged (optional). Later drive to Agra visiting enroute the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, a well preserved Mughal city and a world heritage site. Optional visit to the Taj Mahal at Sunset. Stay in Agra for one night.
Day 9 Agra to KanhaCity tour of Agra includes visit to the Taj Mahal, the poem in marble, built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, the elegant Fort and the tomb of Itmad-uddaulah. Afternoon train to Jabalpur. Overnight on board the train.
Day 10 KanhaArrive Jabalpur in the morning and drive to Kanha National Park for three nights. A project Tiger reserve, Kanha is the original Kipling country. The setting of Rudyard Kipling's, “The Jungle Book’’.This is one of the finest and most popular National Parks of India known for Tiger sightings. The park is also noted for Hyena, Wild dog, Barking deer, Langur, Sambar, Black buck and Gaur. Afternoon game viewing.
- Days 11 & 12 Kanha
Game viewing at dawn & dusk by jeep and / or on elephant back. Kanha is also rich in bird life. It has about 260 species of birds including Storks, Teals, Pintails, Partridge, Falcon, Golden Oriole and Rock pigeons.
Day 13 Kanha to BandavgarhEarly morning jungle safari. Later drive to Bandavgarh National Park, also known as white Tiger Country. Bandavgarh was originally a game reserve of the Maharaja of Rewa. In the moist and mixed deciduous forest, the park is dominated by a 14th century hilltop Fort and supports numerous species of mammals including Tigers, Leopards and variety of bird life. The other wildlife includes Sloth bear, Chausingha, Asiatic jackal and Bengal fox. Among reptiles it has Cobra, Python, Viper etc. Stay in Bandavgarh for two nights.
- Day 14 Bandavgarh
Game viewing at dawn and dusk.
- Day 15 Bandavgarh to Khajuraho
Early morning game viewing. After breakfast drive to Khajuraho. Afternoon visit the famous rock cut temples built by Chandela rulers between 950 to 1050 A.D, depicting erotic themes. Overnight at your hotel.
- Day 16 Khajuraho to Delhi
Afternoon flight to Delhi, transfer to your hotel. Reminder of the day at leisure perhaps to relax by the pool of your hotel or for shopping.
- Day 17 Depart Delhi
Return flight with Jet Airways to London Heathrow, arriving in the evening.
- International Flights: Return economy class International flights from London Heathrow airport. Supplement may apply from regional airports.
- Domestic Flights: Economy class domestic flights within India.
- Assisted Transfers: All Airport and train transfers as specified by a chauffeur driven car inclusive of representative assistance.Where courtesy transfers are provided by the hotel representative assistance may not be available in some places.
- Accommodation: Room with attached private facilities at all hotels for 15 nights. One night on board the train from Agra to Jabalpur.
- Meal Plan: Bed & Breakfast at all the places except Ranthambhore, Kanha & Bandhavgarh where meal plan is on full board (breakfast, lunch & dinner).
- Jungle Safari: As per individual parks regulations. By Jeep sharing with other tourist, seating up to five, or a large open vehicle, seating up to eighteen. Safaris are accompanied by a naturalist. For booking exclusive jeeps a higher charge may apply. Due to the limited number of vehicles allowed inside a park in a day, exclusive jeep is subject to availability.
- Train: Air conditioned sleeper.
- Services of Local Agent &Tour Guide: Services of a local agent in all major cities and an English speaking guide during sightseeing as specified inclusive of entry fee to the monuments.
