  • Day 1   Dublin to Delhi

    Fly from Dublin to Delhi on overnight flight.

    Day 2   Delhi

    Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to your hotel for two nights.

    Day 3   Delhi

    City tour of Old and New Delhi. Old Delhi built by the Emperor Shahjahan is a bustling city of crowded bazaars and winding alleys teeming with life. New Delhi, designed by British architects Lutyens and Herbert Baker, with wide avenues, landscape gardens & stately monuments. Visit the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, Chandni chowk bazaar. Also visit India Gate, Humayun's tomb, Birla temple, Qutb Minar and drive past President’s Palace and the diplomatic enclave.

  • Day 4   Delhi to Agra

    After breakfast leave for the ancient city of Mathura, with more then 3500 years of history, situated on the banks of river Yamuna with a long line of picturesque ghats, arched gateways and temples. This city of festivals and fairs has religious and historical interest and is one of the most sacred cities. It was on the center of trade route to central Asia, Roman Empire and China. Tour of city visiting some famous temples and the museum housing 1st AD art of Indian sculpture and the Buddhist monuments. A short journey to Agra. Stay in Agra for two nights.

  • Day 5   Agra

    Morning tour of Agra visiting the elegant Fort & the tomb of Itimad-ud-daula. In the afternoon visit the romantic Taj Mahal, the mausoleum built by the Mughal King in the loving memory of his queen. You will remain here until Sunset.

  • Day 6   Agra to Jaipur

    After breakfast leave for Jaipur en route visit the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri. Built by Mughal King Akbar in 1569, only to abandon after 14 years due to the shortage of water. This is perhaps the best-preserved Mughal City of all and now a world heritage site. Jaipur, the capital and the largest city of Rajasthan, popularly known as the Pink City, built by Maharaja Swai Jai Singh in 1727 A.D. The whole city was painted pink in 1876 during the visit of Prince of Whales, later Edward VII. Two nights stay in Jaipur.

  • Day 7   Jaipur

    The city of Jaipur is divided into nine rectangular sectors symbolizing the nine divisions of the universe. Today in the morning drive outside of the city to visit the Amber Fort with huge ramparts and watch towers. A decorated elephant will take you up to the fort. Amber was the capital before Jaipur was built. Visit the marble Palace, temple of victory, hall of mirrors, which are excellent examples of ancient Rajput architecture. Afternoon tour of the city includes visit to the City Palace and Museum, Hawa Mahal (The Palace of the Winds) and Janater Manter, an 18th century astronomical Observatory with accurate 90 feet Sundial.

  • Day 8   Jaipur to Delhi

    Return to Delhi for one night. Afternoon free to relax by the pool or for independent exploration.

  • Day 9   Delhi to Dublin

    Fly with Air India, arriving Dublin in the evening
